Welling High Street, Welling, c. 1906
Welling High Street, at the beginning of the 20th century, looking east towards Bexleyheath with the Rose and Crown pub sign just visible on the left (behind and just above the cart).
The High Street is the stretch of Watling Street between the junction of Upper Wickham Lane and the football ground.
On the immediate left is Bull Alley and then the Post Office.
The stretch of road was used as a tram passing point and two lengths of track can be seen in the middle of the road.
