This post-Second World War map shows a
few gaps where bombs had fallen, for example
in Callander Road and Sangley Road, and the small box-like shapes of a group of prefabricated
houses in Bargery Road.
The dense pattern of buildings south of Hazlebank Road indicates a large estate of 'prefabs' that is still standing today - a rare survival.
