St Luke's Primary School, Sumner Road, Peckham, Southwark, 1979
This school building, initially Camden School and later St Luke's Church of England Primary School is an unusual example of educational provision anticipating housing development.
It was built as the parochial school to Camden Chapel on Peckham Road at a cost of £5000 and later passed to the newly-formed St Luke's Parish.
Much of the area around the school was not developed for a decade or more later. The building is now used as a community centre.
